Danny Vannucchi

Strategic Facilitator

Danny is a leading human rights expert and practitioner, having worked with several major global non-profit organizations over the last 15 years, including Amnesty International and Plan International. He has led global campaigns and programs on a wide range of issues, including corporate abuse, criminal justice reform, and gender equality.

 

As Director of Global Strategy & Impact at Amnesty International he led the development of the organization’s ten-year strategy process, guiding the future work of its millions of members and over seventy national offices worldwide. In this role, Danny also oversaw the planning of Amnesty’s global programs and pioneered new monitoring and evaluation standards for its advocacy work.

 

Since 2021, Danny has been working as a consultant supporting global human rights organizations evaluate their work, strengthen organizational effectiveness and their theory of change. He is a part-time professor at UCLA Law School teaching about the connection between human rights advocacy, filmmaking, and storytelling. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Rhize, an organization supporting supporting and developing social justice and grassroots movements globally.
